Math & Science
Numbers and knowledge. This activity is a great way for your child to practice their number sense skills and develop a better understanding of the relationship between numbers and quantities.
- Large piece of paper or cardboard
- Sticky notes
- Coloured pens
- Masking tape
Let your child help to create this activity.
- Write the numbers 1 through 10 in large font across your paper and then tape your paper to the wall.
- Use your sticky notes to write out matching values using words or dots. For example, 5 = Five OR ● ● ● ● ●.
- Let your child match the sticky note value (word/dots) to the corresponding number on the paper.
For older children, write out simple math equations on the sticky notes, e.g. 3 + 2 =…
Let your child match the sticky note equation to the corresponding (answer) number on the paper.
